EFEK EKSTRAK KULIT BUAH MANGGIS (Garcinia mangostana L.) SEBAGAI PENCEGAH KERUSAKAN MUKOSA LAMBUNG

Ekstrak kulit manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) mengandung xanthone dengan senyawa utama alfa mangostin dan gamma-mangostin yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan dalam melindungi mukosa lambung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak pelindung lambung tikus diinduksi asam asetilsalisilat (ASA). Penelitian menggunakan 24 ekor dibagi menjadi empat kelompok perlakuan terdiri kontrol negatif (K-), positif (K+), dosis 750mg/KgBB (P1), 1000mg/KgBB (P2). Perlakuan diberikan setiap hari selama 7 hari. Pada ke-8 di eutanasia, dibedah, diambil organ untuk dibuat sediaan histopatologi pewarnaan HE. Uji Post Hoc Tukey menunjukkan bahwa 750mg/Kgbb (P1) (P2) memiliki perbedaan signifikan (p<0.05) terhadap tetapi tidak (p>0.05) dibandingkan Hal efektif mencegah kerusakan galur Wistar 1000mg/KgBB. dapat disimpulkan kemampuan Wistar.
